Privacy Policy

ShobdoAI (shobdoai.com) is a Bangla audio and video transcription service. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

1. What Data We Collect

  • Email address — required to create and identify your account.
  • Audio and video metadata — file name, duration, and language detected during transcription. The file itself is streamed directly to ElevenLabs and is never stored on ShobdoAI servers.
  • Transcript text — the output of each transcription is saved to your account history so you can retrieve it later.
  • Payment transaction ID — if you pay via bKash or Nagad, you submit your transaction ID manually. No card or banking credentials are processed by ShobdoAI.

2. How We Store Your Data

  • All account and transcript data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on servers in the EU region.
  • Data is protected by row-level security policies: you can only read and delete your own records.
  • Audio and video files are not retained — they are forwarded to ElevenLabs for transcription and discarded immediately.

3. Payment Handling

  • ShobdoAI uses a manual payment process via bKash hosted payment link. We do not handle, store, or process any debit/credit card information.
  • Your bKash transaction ID is stored solely to allow our admin to verify your payment.

4. Third-Party Services

  • ElevenLabs — processes your audio/video for transcription. Subject to ElevenLabs' own privacy policy.
  • Supabase — database and authentication provider.
  • Google Analytics / GTM — anonymised usage analytics. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

  • Transcript history is retained until you delete individual transcripts or request full account deletion.
  • Payment records (invoices) are retained for up to 2 years for accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

  • You may delete individual transcripts at any time from your history.
  • To request full deletion of your account and all associated data, email: hredoy11.rk@gmail.com.
  • We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Governing Law

  • This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bangladesh.
